Albergue Hostelling International in FlorianopolisThe Albergue Hostelling International can house students and young travellers for as low as R$ 25,00 a day, in collective rooms. They have two units in Florianopolis: one downtown at about 25km from the conference hotel and another one in the beach of Canasvieiras, only 4.5km away.The downtown unit is open year round but unfortunately the more convenient Canasvieiras unit is closed in the winter month of July :-( If you decide to stay at the downtown Hostel unit, make sure to state that you are a participant of the BRAZILIAN OPERATOR ALGEBRAS CONFERENCE. In case there is a large number of reservations (bring your friends and relatives!), there is a chance that they will open the Canasvieiras unit for us.
